Revanth Reddy says flash survey finds no hostility towards Telangana government

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has claimed that a flash survey found no hostility towards the government following three days of Assembly activity. He accused the BRS of disrupting proceedings and urged Congress MLAs to actively participate in discussions.

Hyderabad: In the aftermath of three days of intense activity both inside and outside the Assembly, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has claimed that he conducted a flash survey which showed there was no hostility towards to the government.

“In fact, the people have found fault with the BRS party,” the Chief Minister is learnt to have said at the Congress Legislative Party meeting held here on Thursday.

He said the Congress government had delivered good governance during its first 1,000 days in the State.

However, the BRS had hatched a conspiracy to disrupt the proceedings of the House to cover up its failures, he alleged. “We have to counter the opposition’s ploys effectively. I appreciate all those who successfully exposed the BRS conspiracies before the people,” Revanth Reddy said. He appealed to Congress MLAs to attend the Assembly and participate in the discussions.

Meanwhile, government employees met the Chief Minister and urged him to address their long-pending issues. During the meeting, he is learnt to have told the employees that the next Assembly elections would be held in 2028 or 2029.

“I will be appearing for exams then and you can pass me or fail,” the Chief Minister is believed to have told the employees. He further appealed to them to give the government two years’ breathing time and assured them that all their long-pending issues would be addressed by then. He had made a similar appeal to government teachers as well.
