Revanth Reddy seeks Centre’s approval for major highway projects

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi, urging swift approvals for several major infrastructure projects in Telangana. He requested financial and Cabinet clearances for the Regional Ring Road (northern part).
During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that 90 per cent of land acquisition for northern part of RRR was completed, and sought approvals for the southern section as per the detailed project report (DPR) submitted. He also pressed for a four-lane greenfield road on the Raviryal-Amangal-Mannanur stretch, a four-lane elevated corridor on the Mannanur-Srisailam (NH-765) route, and recognition of a new greenfield Hyderabad-Mancherial road as a national highway.
Further, he urged sanction of a 12-lane greenfield expressway connecting Hyderabad’s Future City to Bandar Port via Amaravati, positioning it as a critical link for regional connectivity and economic growth.
