Revanth Reddy wants Yadagirigutta, not Yadadri, in official records

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday directed officials to replace Yadadri as Yadagirigutta in all records, besides instructing them to initiate measures for constituting a Board for the temple on the lines of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board.

The Chief Minister visited the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple and took the blessings of the lord on his birthday. Later, he held a meeting with the temple officials on the temple development and balance works to be completed.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister said the government had decided to constitute a Board for the temple. Take all steps to constitute a Yadagirigutta Temple Board on the lines of TTD Board, he told officials, also asking for a policy for cow protection in the goshala.

Instructing officials to expedite the gold plating works for the Vimana Gopuram at the temple, the Chief Minister wanted the work to be completed before the next Brahmotsavams. All the land acquisition works pending for temple development were to be completed as per schedule.
