Adilabad: BRS district president Jogu Ramanna alleged that Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was writing letters, consisting of utter lies, to Prime Narendra Modi over challenges of farmers. He addressed pressmen here on Tuesday.

Ramanna stated that Revanth Reddy, who already cheated farmers by not completely waiving off crop loans, was writing letters to Modi claiming that the loans were waived off.

“His letters to the Prime Minister were full of lies. He presented false data of crop loans in the letters. Around 20 lakh farmers are still waiting for the waiver,” he stated.

The former minister said that farmers were lodging complaints against Revanth Reddy for duping them. He stated that the Congress was struggling to fulfill its poll promises.

BRS would continue to fight against the government on behalf of the farmer. He regretted that activists of BRS were being booked for highlighting the issue on social media.

He earlier lodged a complaint against the Chief Minister for cheating farmers for not waiving off crop loans in full-fledged manner with DSP L Jeevan Reddy.

BRS leaders R Ramesh, Ijjagiri Narayana, Mettu Prahlad, Yasam Narasinga Rao, Kumra Raju, Navathe Srinivas, Asif and many others were present.
