Revanth’s lie on crop damage compensation left farmers in shock

Siddipet: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy lies during the public meeting at Narmetta left the Siddipet farmers who were in attendance in shock as he announced that the government had given Rs 10,000 compensation to every acre of the crop damage.

During the 2025 Vanakalm, the agriculture and horticulture crops were damaged at least four times as heavy rains lashed the district multiple times. Although the agriculture and horticulture departments have carried the survey each times the rains damaged the crop, the farmers did not get any compensation so far.

However, Revanth lied comfortably while the farmers remained as mute spectators to his speech. The Chief Minister also announced that he never showed any discrimination towards Siddipet in releasing the funds.

However, the BRS leaders time and again alleged that Revanth stopped multiple projects that were already grounded in Siddipet constituency. Former Minister T Harish Rao went on to write multiple open letters to Reventh, seeking the release of funds for the projects that were already grounded, but to no avail.
