Revised Pay Scale for teaching staff issued in Telangana

Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday issued an order for implementation of Revised Pay Scales-2020 to the teaching and non-teaching staff working under the Telangana Residential Educational Institutions Society (TREIS) management.

According to the order copy, the Revised Pay Scales, 2020 will come into force on and from July 1, 2018, and the monetary benefit will be allowed from April 1, 2020.

The arrears for the period from April 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021, will be paid at the time of superannuation of the government employee or to the legal heirs in case of demise of the employee, it said, adding that the arrears for the period from April 1, 2021, to May 31, 2021, will be paid during the financial year 2021- 22. The salary in the RPS, 2020 will be paid from the month of June, 2021 payable in July, 2021, it added.

The government also issued orders for implementation of RPS -2020 to regular employees of Telangana State Educational and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation and employees of State Institute of Educational Technology.
