Revolutionary STEM lab and court inaugurated for juvenile rehab in Hyderabad
In partnership with Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd (CSR wing), the Youngistaan Foundation has introduced special facilities designed to engage boys through structured recreational activities such as sports and theatre. These initiatives also offer enhanced vocational training in areas like photography, professional hair cutting, counseling (both individual and group), hospitality and hotel management, technology development, and more, according to a press release.

Hyderabad: A STEM (Science Technology Engineering Maths) tinkering laboratory and an international-standard outdoor multipurpose court, designed to foster holistic development and juvenile rehabilitation were inaugurated at Government Special Home in Gajularamaram on Wednesday
Collaboration between Youngistaan Foundation and Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd (CSR wing), the special facilities are aimed to meaningfully engage the boys through structured recreational activities like sports and theatre, and enhanced vocational training in photography, professional hair cutting, individual and group counseling, hospitality and hotel management course, technology development and more, a press release said.
The Youngistaan Foundation, Bosch Global Software closely collaborated with Department of Women Development and Child Welfare, the Department of Juvenile Welfare, Correctional Services and Welfare of Street Children, Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Telangana Social Impact Group (T-SIG) to establish the STEM laboratory and multipurpose court.
On the occasion, the children at the Gajularamaram Special Home performed a theatre drama on the theme of unity, a culmination of their psychosocial theatre course.
Kanthi Wesley, IAS, Director, Women and Child Welfare Department and of Juvenile Welfare, Correctional Services, and Welfare of Street Children, applauded the initiative and hoped that Youngistaan Foundation and BOSCH extend this impactful work to other homes.
Jacob Peter, Executive Board Member and SVP at Bosch Global Software Technologies, said “When I was young, I didn’t have access to such a court or such wonderful coaches. Make the most of it. I really liked your photographs – they’re better than anything I’ve clicked with my DSLR”.
