Karimnagar: Finance Minister T Harish Rao has alleged that the Union government led by BJP was imposing a huge burden on the poor by increasing the prices of essential commodities. Besides other commodities, the price of cooking gas was also hiked every month by reducing the subsidy. So, people of Huzurabad constituency should decide whether they want the BJP, which was increasing the prices of all commodities or TRS, which was implementing various schemes for the welfare of the poor.
Harish Rao and BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar laid foundation for Peddamma temple near Ranganayakulagutta of Huzurabad town on Thursday. On the occasion, Ministers performed pujas in nearby Hanuman temple. Speaking there, the Finance Minister said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has sanctioned 4,000 double bedroom houses to Huzurabad constituency. However, BJP leader and former Minister, Eatala Rajender failed to complete a single house.
How the development of Huzurabad was possible if the local people exercised their votes to BJP candidate Rajender, who failed to construct a single house, he questioned and asked the people to elect TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav if they wanted development. Talking about sentiment dialogues being chanted by Rajender, the Minister made it clear that it was not possible to fill the stomach of people. He appealed to the people to support TRS, which would be in power for the next two years.
Expressing happiness on laying the foundation for Peddamma temple, he assured to offer Bonalu to the presiding deity by completing the temple within six months. However, he expressed concern over lack of road facility to the area, wherein few temples were located. Announcing to sanction Rs 1 crore for Chilukavagu bridge, Minister promised to develop the temple with Rs 30 lakh.
