Road safety awareness programme held at Oasis International School

A road safety awareness programme was held at Oasis International School in Shaikpet to mark World Peace Day. DCP (Traffic) Kajal Singh interacted with students, explained traffic rules and laws, and urged them to promote responsible road behaviour.

HYDERABAD: A road safety awareness programme was organised at Oasis International School, Shaikpet, Hyderabad, on Monday on the occasion of World Peace Day.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Kajal Singh attended the programme and interacted with students on road safety, traffic regulations and responsible road behaviour. She highlighted the importance of following traffic rules and respecting fellow commuters to prevent accidents and promote peaceful coexistence on roads.

During an interactive question-and-answer session, students raised queries about traffic rules, road safety and relevant laws. The DCP explained the applicable legal provisions, their importance and enforcement mechanisms.

Encouraging students to become responsible road users, Singh urged them to spread awareness about road safety and mutual respect among their families and peers. Students also participated in a road safety awareness display, holding placards carrying messages on traffic rules and peaceful coexistence on roads.
