Road safety run held in Hyderabad
Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali flagged off the run at Necklace Road in the presence of City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and other officers.
Hyderabad: A virtual Run for Road Safety was organised by the Hyderabad Traffic Police on Saturday morning. Several hundred people participated in the run held at different places in the city.
Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali flagged off the run at Necklace Road in the presence of City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and other officers.
The event was live-streamed from around 50 points designated for the run and scores of people participated in the run once it was flagged off from Necklace Road.
At the end of the event, the Home Minister handed over awards to participants. He said the Telangana Police were the number one police force in the country and that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had prioritised law and order in the State.
