Karimnagar: Karimnagar Commissionerate Police on Saturday shifted vegetable vendors, who have been operating their businesses on roads, to the Rythu Bazar on Saturday.
Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana personally monitored the shifting process. Vendors were operating their businesses on roads causing inconvenience to pedestrians and vehicle users in front of Venkateshwara temple, Shanivaram market and tower circle areas.
The Police Commission, who visited crowded market areas on Friday evening, on Saturday educated vegetable vendors about inconvenience being faced by road users following the occupation of roads.
