Robbery gang held in Chandrayangutta

Hyderabad: The Chandrayangutta police on Saturday caught a five-member robbery gang involved in several cases and recovered three motorcycles, Rs 30,000 in cash and other material from them.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohd.Khaji Sohail (22) from Rajendranagar, Shaik Sohail (22) from Mailardevpally, Mohd Sajid (25) from Chandrayangutta, Mohd Khan (20) from Shaheen Nagar and Syed Arshad (21) from Rajendranagar.
The gang was earlier involved in similar cases in Mailardevpally, Madhapur, Raidurgam, Rajendranagar and Langar Houz, the police said.
According to the police, the gang targeted pedestrians and motorists found alone on secluded roads and robbed them by threatening to kill them. Recently, they robbed a youngster at Ghouse Nagar. Based on a complaint, the Chandrayangutta police identified the gang and nabbed them.
