Hyderabad: A cybercrime review meeting was held by Cybercrime DCP Lavanya at Cyberabad here on Thursday.
The DCP said a robust mechanism was needed to monitor cybercrimes reported in the Cyberabad Unit.
“In the near future, most of the offences will have cyber space as a medium or a target requiring every police officer to be well equipped with skills required to detect these cases,” she said.
The Investigation Operations Centre would analyze cybercrimes and provide inputs to investigation officers for better detection. The Investigation Support Centre would guide the cybercrime staff of law and order police stations in following standard operating procedure and detecting crimes, she said.
