Mumbai: In a delightful cross-continental encounter, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan clicked a fun selfie with Hollywood star Johnny Depp.
Kartik shared the photo on Instagram, where he is seen sporting a casual look with his signature mischievous expression. Depp, meanwhile, donned his iconic beanie and sunglasses and completed his look with a cigar in hand. Kartik, who is currently at the Red Sea Film Festival, captioned the post: “Pirates of the Red Sea JackSparrow x RoohBaba @johnnydepp.”
Kartik will next be seen in *Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri*, a romantic-comedy film directed by Sameer Vidwans. The film also stars Ananya Panday, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania. It was shot across Croatia, Rajasthan, and Mumbai over 57 days and is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 25.
He will also appear in *Naagzilla*, playing the unexpected role of Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand, a shape-shifting naag on a fantastical adventure. The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, written by Gautam Mehra, and jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.
Talking about Johnny Depp’s character, he plays the main protagonist Jack Sparrow in Disney’s *Pirates of the Caribbean*, an American fantasy supernatural swashbuckler film series. The films are primarily set in the Caribbean during a fictionalized version of the Golden Age of Piracy and follow Captain Jack Sparrow’s adventures with characters like Hector Barbossa and Joshamee Gibbs.
Meanwhile, Rooh Baba is the character Kartik plays in *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2* and will reprise in the third installment of the franchise.
