Hyderabad: The ROS Medical Fitness Center, Jubilee Hills, on Thursday launched Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment chamber, a Make in India product that could find a lot of applications for a variety of patients and individuals.
The Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing 100 percent pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber.
There is evidence of the effectiveness of oxygen therapy in hyperbaric chambers for several medical conditions including accelerated healing among chronic non-healing wounds like diabetic foot ulcers, carbon monoxide poisoning, highly effective in the treatment as an adjunct in gangrene and infections, neurological wellness etc., a press release said.
