Hyderabad: A row over filming intimate moments of a man with an alleged sex worker using a phone led to the murder of a couple at Puppalguda in Narsingi four days ago, the police said.
The Narsingi police on Thursday arrested Rahul Kumar Saket (26), Raj Kumar Saket (22) and Sukhendra Kumar Saket (30), all natives of Madhya Pradesh, who had killed the couple Divya Bindu and Ankit on Monday night.
Ch Srinivas, DCP (Rajendranagar) said that the victim was allegedly into prostitution and Ankit, was supporting her in the activities.
“A few weeks ago, Rahul Saket took the woman to an isolated and tried to shoot intimate videos. The woman objected to it and informed Ankit about it who scolded Rahul and asked him not do such things,” said the official.
To avenge the insult, Rahul along with Raj and Sukhendra planned to lure Ankith and the woman to the place on pretext of business. When the two people came they took her to Puppalaguda hillocks.
“At the hillocks, Rahul and Raj first killed Ankith brutally and later murdered Divya. All the three persons then left the place and escaped to their home town. Basing on the phone signals and call details, they were caught and on interrogation the trio admitted to killing the woman,” said the DCP.
The victims Divya Bindu, a native of Chhattisgarh and Ankit, a native of Madhya Pradesh were found murdered at Puppalaguda hillocks on Tuesday afternoon. The police initially could not establish the identity of the victims. On Wednesday, the police identified the persons and gathered details about their activities.
All the three were produced before the court and being brought to the city on transit remand.
