Hyderabad: A local court in LB Nagar sentenced a rowdy sheeter to five years of rigorous imprisonment in an attempt to murder a case in Balapur in 2020. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 500 on him.
The convicted person, Mubarak Bin Abdullah Bin Salmin Sigar alias Mubarak Sigar (30), a car driver from Sandesh Nagar in Balapur, has a rowdy sheet maintained against him in the Balapur police station and was detained under the Preventive Detention Act in 2018.
In December last year, one Shaik Abdul Bawazir from Chandrayangutta was stabbed with a knife by Sigar. The Balapur police booked a case and arrested him.
