RPF Brass Band marks Republic Day celebrations at Begumpet station
As part of Republic Day celebrations 2026, the Railway Protection Force organised a brass band performance at Begumpet railway station in Hyderabad. The event, attended by officials and staff, aimed to promote patriotism and was well received by passengers and the public.
Hyderabad: As part of the Republic Day Celebrations 2026, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Hyderabad, Secunderabad Division, organised a RPF Brass Band performance to promote patriotism among railway passengers and the general public.
The RPF Brass Band performances were conducted in the circulating area towards Platform No. 02, Begumpet Railway Station, on Wednesday evening. Sreedevi, Commissioner, Employees Provident Fund Office, ASC-II HYB divn, all station supervisors and staff, including S Kalpana, Inspector /RPF, Syeda Tahseen, SIPF/RPF Begumpet, attended the event.
The RPF Brass Band performed indigenous tunes to promote patriotism among railway passengers. The performance was well received by railway passengers and the general public, a press release said.
