Hyderabad: The buzz and the mania surrounding ‘RRR’ isn’t going to die anytime soon even after the film’s release got indefinitely postponed. January 7 (today) the entire country would have waited with bated breath to witness the visual spectacle that ‘RRR’ promises to be, had there not been an increase in Covid cases.
Now, it’s hard for fans to believe that the magnum opus, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, isn’t hitting the big screens this Friday, nor is it coming during the Sankranti festival this year. But, why is it trending on Twitter this morning? Well, fans couldn’t just stop posting pics of their favourite stars on Twitter.
Some even went overboard to just fake it that they’ve attended a “premiere show”. Twitter is abuzz with short video clippings being posted all over the micro-blogging platform by ‘RRR’ fans. One can easily figure out these short videos that were posted were actually tweaked out from the ‘RRR’ trailer that’s played in theatres during break time.
This apart, knowing that ‘RRR’ won’t be in theatres for this festival, some have been sharing memes to express how sorrowful and heartbroken they’re.
The drama doesn’t stop here; some diehard fans on Twitter went the extra mile to give the film’s review. Screaming before the camera, hailing its grandeur, they explained how the music played a crucial part in elevating the story and other things. And others waited for their turn to praise how SS Rajamouli once again proved to be a visionary.
All this fodder on Twitter would have made the film a blockbuster for sure had ‘RRR’ come to theatre as it was planned.
