Hyderabad: The much anticipated magnum opus ‘RRR’ helmed by S.S. Rajamouli has postponed its release date. The movie was slated to be released on 7th January.
From a past few days, there has been a lot of buzz going on in the internet about the postponement of RRR due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in the country. And as people expected, the makers have made an official announcement about the same.
The production house of the film, shared a picture that read, in spite of our relentless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing theaters, we are left with no choice but to ask you to hold on your excitement. We promised to bring back The Glory Of Indian Cinema and at the same time we will.
The tweet was attached with a caption that read, “Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love”.
The SS Rajamouli-directional “RRR”, is a fictional story set in 1920s based on revolutionaries Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan respectively. The other pivotal roles in the film are played by Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody.
