Rs 1000 cr worth irregularities in Kokapet plots: Revanth Reddy
Going by the current market, the auction should have generated Rs 3,000 crore revenue to the State government but Rs 2,000 crore was fetched, the TPCC chief alleged
Hyderabad: TPCC president A Revanth Reddy alleged that there were irregularities to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore in the e-auction of Kokapet and Khanamet plots conducted by the State government.
Going by the current market, the auction should have generated Rs 3,000 crore revenue to the State government but Rs 2,000 crore was fetched, he charged at a press conference here on Saturday.
“If the State government does not respond to these charges in a few days, a complaint will be lodged with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard” Revanth Reddy said.
In the past, when Congress government wanted to auction plots, TRS leaders had opposed the move. The issue of land encroachments in the State would be taken up in the forthcoming parliament sessions, he added.
