Nirmal: Unknown persons decamped with Rs 2.10 lakh in cash and gold ornaments from a house belonging to a farmer Raipur Kandli village in Lokeshwaram mandal on Friday.
Lokeshwaram police said that the victim was Bibtsavam Dandari Mallesh, a native of Raipur Kandli village. The unidentified persons took away the cash and gold ornaments stored in an iron almirah when the farmer and his family members were away. They broke open the locks of the main doors and entered the house. The farmer realised that his cash was stolen when he returned from his agriculture field. He lodged a complaint with police, who rushed to the spot and gathered pieces of evidence.
