Mancherial: MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao said that the government sanctioned grants Rs 5.51 crore to repair 15 roads that measured 33.76 kilometers which were battered by rains in different parts of Mancherial Assembly constituency.
In a press statement, Diwakar Rao informed that a 3.28 kilometer long stretch between Nelkivenkatapur and Thanimadugu village in Dandepalli would be repaired spending Rs 49.65 lakh. A 2 kilometer road from PWD road to Gudirevu in Dandepalli would be bettered at an estimated cost of Rs 40 lakh, while Rs 1.57 crore would be spent to repair a road between Itikyala and Peddampet villages in Luxettipet mandal.
Some of the other roads which would be repaired included a stretch from Laxmipur to Rangapet via Jendavenkatpur in Luxettpet mandal, a road from PWD road to Rampur in Luxettipet mandal, a stretch between Hajipur mandal centre to Padthanpalli, a road from National Highway 24 to Kolamgudam in Luxettipet mandal, between NH-16 and Mittapalli of Luxettipet mandal.
