Siddipet: Telangana government has released Rs 5.6 crore for building a high level bridge between Gonepally and Ibrahim Nagar villages in Chinnakodur Mandal.
Since the farmers were finding it difficult to proceed across a local stream at Gonepally, Finance Minister T Harish Rao, in a press statement, said the government has decided to build a high level bridge in place of existing low level bridge.
The Minister said that they have decided to grant the fund since the farmers have approached them requesting them to build the bridge.
He said that the bridge eases out transportation between Ibrahim Nagar, Gonepally, Obulapur, Palamakula, Rajagopal Pet, Venkatapur and others.
