Ryan Group signs pact with SATG to promote football

Ryan Group of Institutions has signed an MoU with the Sports Authority of Telangana and AIFF to establish a FIFA Talent Academy in Hyderabad. The initiative aims to provide structured football training along with quality academics for young players

Hyderabad: Ryan Group of Institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sports Authority of Telangana and the All India Football Federation to set up FIFA Talent Academy in the City and introduce structured football and futsal programmes across the group’s schools.

The MoU was signed by the SATG VC & MD Mrs. Sonibala Devi and the representatives of the Ryan Group and the AIFF.


“As part of these efforts, a FIFA Talent Academy will be set up at the GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli in association with the AIFF and the FIFA besides SATG,” Mr Ryan Pinto, CEO of Ryan Group, informed the media on Monday.

“SATG had selected 60 players, including 30 girls in the age group of under-16 for the Academy and will provide comprehensive technical support, including designing grassroots football and futsal frameworks, delivering standardised coaching curricula,” he said.

“With the SATG taking care of everything on the field, we take care of Academics for all the selected players who also include from outside the Ryan Group and from across India. And, all facilities on our campus will be accessible for all of them, including boarding facilities,” Ryan said.

“The AFF-FIFA will also conduct baby leagues besides training our coaches under the MoU. Through this partnershi,p we would like to focus on futsal at the youth level, and girls’ football,” Ryan said.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership to Hyderabad. Our experience in Bhubaneswar reaffirmed that young athletes deserve world-class sports training without compromising on quality education. With our established presence in Hyderabad, we are well-positioned to deliver a flexible, high-quality academic framework that complements rigorous training schedules and safeguards students’ academic futures.”
