Hyderabad: Social media was flooded with celebratory messages on Monday marking the achievement of the Telangana government’s flagship investment support programme, Rythu Bandhu, touching the whopping Rs 50,000 crore that has been deposited into the bank accounts of farmers as of Monday.
Social media platform Twitter saw the hashtag ‘#RythuBandhuKCR’ trending as it was used by people from varied sections including elected representatives, farmers and other Telangana citizens across the world. The hashtag remained at the number one position on Twitter trends in India, with more than 35,000 tweets.
