Hyderabad: S Sri Charan of Velocity Chess Academy won the Open Prize Money Chess Tournament at A2H Chess Academy (Kukatpally) here on Monday.

Sri Charan tied with S. Vikramjit Singh of SC Railways, both scoring five points at the end of five rounds, but was declared the winner by virtue of the tie-break rule.
