Hyderabad: Saatvic Kumar Singh, at the age of 13, has set a rare record by becoming one of the youngest to compete in the PGTI Telangana Golconda Masters Golf Championship here as an amateur.

He earned a place in the Golconda Masters after qualifying in the selection trials as an amateur.

Saatvic, a ninth-grade student of Delhi Public School (Hyderabad) and a trainee at the Hyderabad Golf Association, started playing golf at the age of three. He was also the former South Zone Junior No.1 and has won two titles in the South Zone.

One of his notable performances was finishing second in the IGU Northern India Junior Classic Championship at Country Club (Gurgaon), Haryana. He was ranked fifth on the IGU Order in 2024.

“The Golconda Masters should help me gain immense and invaluable experience as I dream big to win many national and international tournaments,” Saatvic said.
