Hyderabad: The Safari Park at Nehru Zoological Park has been reopened for visitors and the zoo curator, S.Rajashekar on Wednesday flagged off the safari vehicles.
The curator said the Safari Park happens to be one of the most exciting part of the zoo visit. Animals like Asiatic Lions, Royal Bengal Tigers, Sloth Bears and Indian Gaur are freely released and the visitors are taken in the park in a caged vehicle for sighting the animals.
He however pointed out that sighting of animals was not guaranteed as they may hide behind the trees and rocks. The visitors can avail the facility of air-conditioned and non air-conditioned 25 seater vans to view the Safari Park.
