Yadadri-Bhongir: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Sunday said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao accorded top priority for safety and self sufficiency of the women, which was real women empowerment.
Participating in Mahika Bandhu programme conducted at Choutuppal on the occasion of Women’s Day celebrations, Jagadish Reddy said that the Chief Minister was biased towards women and hence, majority of benefits under all the schemes were being provided on the name of a woman of the families. After taking the reins of the administration, the Chief Minister took special measures including SHE teams for safety and security of the women and girls in the State.
