The Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor wants to go with the current trend and try the digital medium
Sahil Anand, who is known for starring in films like Student Of The Year and Babloo Happy Hai, is now gearing up with new projects. The actor is ready to make his entry into the OTT platform soon.
“Working in the small screen gave me a different experience, especially Kasautii Zindagii Kay team became more close to me; we have funny and memorable moments together,” says Sahil who recalled his memories with Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
“It’s not really easy to reach people. We used to shoot continuously for 12 hours and some scripts would be given on the spot. Television teaches you many things,” he adds. Sahil also took part in MTV Roadies 4 and Bigg Boss 10 as a celebrity contestant.
“Taking up challenges makes us learn many new things and as an actor, I would obviously like to experiment with something new as and when I get a chance. It’s always good to try and explore newer things and genres. My dream is to play an Army officer. If I get a good script, I would definitely give first preference to it,” shares Sahil.
“When the pandemic hit us in the beginning of this year, I was blank for a while but later I was happy to have proper and much-needed time to get in touch with my old friends and have some gala time. I also got to spend quality time with my family. The fun and the memories refreshed my mind,” he adds. Sahil believes in constant learning and would soon be off to Los Angeles film school, which is currently put on hold due to coronavirus.
“I also focused more on web series. Recently, I have watched Narcos and a few more shows which, I felt, were great. It’s the OTT trend going on in full swing now, so I would also be soon getting into the digital platform myself.
I’m happy that people started showing more interest in OTT. The best part of it is that we have more opportunities to prove ourselves,” concludes Sahil Anand who feels it’s not just movies but web series too have their own the benchmark in OTT platforms.
