After long delays and shift in release dates due to the pandemic, the makers of Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming movie ‘Republic’ have decided to release the movie on October 1.
The actor, who made quite a buzz with his last outing ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’, the first movie to release in theatres soon after the first wave of lockdown, is confident of getting a break at the box office with ‘Republic’.
‘Republic’ is directed by Deva Katta and is produced jointly by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagawan under JB Entertainments banner in association with Zee Studios. The movie which was initially scheduled to release on June 4 this year, however got postponed due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown.
And finally, October 2 being a holiday marking the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the makers are expecting good footfall in theatres during the weekend.
Sai Dharam Tej plays an IAS officer in the movie which is touted to be a political drama, and features actor Aishwarya Rajesh in the female lead. Jagapathi Babu and Ram Krishna play other crucial roles. Mani Sharma provides the music
