Saidabad resident found dead in Vishnunagar house with neck injuries

An elderly man, K Shivaiah (70), was found murdered in his old house at Vishnunagar, Saidabad. Police said his throat was slit by unknown persons. A murder case has been registered

Hyderabad: An elderly man was murdered by unknown persons at his house in Saidabad on Sunday night.

The man, K Shivaiah (70), a resident of Saidabad, stayed along with his family. On Sunday evening, he went out, bought a liquor bottle for himself, and consumed it.

“Later in the night, Shivaiah went to his old house located in Vishnunagar to sleep, while his family were staying in a rented house a little away. On Monday morning, the family members found him lying dead in a pool of blood in the house. There are cut marks on his neck indicating that some persons had slit his throat,” said Saidabad police.

A case is registered.
