Samantha clears air on ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ promotion rumours

Hyderabad: As Ye Maaya Chesave gears up for its re-release on July 18, 2025, rumours began doing the rounds that lead actors Samantha and Naga Chaitanya would come together to promote the film once again.
Directed by Gautham Menon, the romantic drama is returning to theatres as part of the current re-release trend that is exciting movie lovers across the country.
However, putting all speculation to rest, Samantha clarified that she will not be involved in the promotions. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the actress said, “No, I am not promoting Ye Maaya Chesave with anyone. In fact, I’m not promoting the film at all.”
Her response comes after several online posts claimed that the former couple would reunite for the film’s publicity.
While the film’s return to theatres is expected to draw in fans once again, Samantha has made it clear that she won’t be part of the buzz surrounding its re-release.
