Hyderabad: In what seems to be a heartbreaking news to her fans and well-wishers, South-Indian star Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Saturday announced her separation from Naga Chaitanya.

“After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths,” she mentioned in her Instagram post.

The note came after a series of speculations and rumours doing rounds on social media and other media outlets on their possible divorce nearly over a month.

Naga Chaitanya too shared the note on his twitter handle on Saturday. He mentioned saying, “We’re fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy ew need to move on. Thank you for your support.”
