Hyderabad: The dream girls of South cinema – Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Taapsee Pannu – are planning to collaborate on a new project. As per various sources, the duo is set to team up for a powerful, women-centric film. Although there is no official announcement from either of the actors, apparently they are in talks with makers regarding the pan-India film.

Although fans were excited with the news, it is not likely that the duo will share the screen space as Taapsee will be bankrolling the project under her production house starring Samantha. It was on a chat show that the two actors recently teased about their collaboration.

It seems like this will be Samantha’s debut project in Bollywood. The ‘Family Man 2’ actor recently revealed that she will be making an entry into Hollywood with ‘Downton Abbey’ director Philip John. If everything goes as planned, Sam will soon turn into a global star much like ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Samantha is currently basking in the success of her spicy dance number ‘Oo Antava’ in Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Sam also has ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ and ‘Shaakuntalam’ to look forward to. Meanwhile, Taapsee has films like ‘Looop Lapeta’, ‘Dobaaraa’, ‘Shabaash Mithu’, ‘Mishan Impossible’, and ‘Blurr’ in the pipeline.
