Hyderabad: Samantha Ruth Prabhu jetted off to Goa with her close friends Shilpa Reddy, Harshavardhan Reddy, and Vasuki Punj for Christmas and has been updating fans about her trip on social media. While on Wednesday morning, she posted a picture of her pups at home and how she’s missing them, earlier she shared a snap of her enjoying a swim by the waterfalls. The actor is likely to ring in the New Year at the holiday spot.

Wearing a colourful swimsuit and a million-dollar smile, Samantha’s latest pic on Instagram is all about stepping into 2022 with happiness. “#goayoubeauty (sic),” the actor captioned the pic. Vasuki and Shilpa, too, have been sharing pics from the trip which includes the group going trekking into a forest and chilling by the pool.

Samantha, who recently announced her divorce from Telugu film star Naga Chaitanya, received immense support from fans and colleagues in the industry. “Loveeee this,” commented Seshanka Binesh. “Gorgeous,” wrote Divya Spandana. “You deserved all the happiness girl @samantharuthprabhuoffl such a beautiful way to end this successful year of you Sam (sic),” added a fan in the comments section.

Meanwhile, during a promotional event, actor Allu Arjun thanked Samantha for trusting him and doing the song ‘Oo Antava’ despite not being so sure. He said, “Samantha garu thank you so much for doing the song. I know you had many doubts on the sets, whether it’s right or not right. But I only told you one thing, trust me and you didn’t even question me. You have won my heart and respect. Congratulations to you on being a part of the No. 1 song on YouTube.”
