Sampoorna Shatavadhanam: A three day literary fest commences in Hyderabad
A three day Sampoorna Shatavadhanam of Dr. Marepalli Venkataramana Patwardhan organized by Telugu University, Avadhana Vidya Vikasa Parishad and Praja Padyam began today in Telugu University
Hyderabad: A Sampoorna Shatavadhanam of Dr. Marepalli Venkataramana Patwardhan jointly organized by Telugu University- Hyderabad, Praja-Padyam, Avadhana Vidya Vikasa Parishad and Praja Padyam began at the Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Kalamandiram of Telugu University, in the presence of poets, scholars and literary enthusiasts, on Saturday.
The speakers expressed their views that this Avadhana process is unique to the Telugu language and that this Shatavadhanam program, which was started with the good intention of providing it to future generations. They observed that the government should also provide a suitable place in the society for such literary processes and encourage them.
In the inaugural session of the three-day programme, Sriman Sri Perambuduru Srirangacharya, MLC Dr. Surabhi Vani, Telugu University Vice-Chancellor Acharya Veludanda Nityananda Rao, Sri Vanam Jwala Narasimha Rao, Darshanam devotional magazine Editor Marumamula Venkataramana Sharma, Ayachitam Sridhar and organizers Narumanchi Venkatakrishna and Marumamula Dattatreya Sharma and literary figures from both Telugu States, participated.
