Sandhya Theatre stampede case: Allu Arjun questioned for 3 hours by Chikkadpallly police
The police posed the actor a set of questions revolving his visit to the theatre, whether he was aware of the denial of permission for his visit, his interaction with the police officials in the theatre, knowledge about the stampede and other questions.
Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun was questioned by the Chikkadpally police on Tuesday for close to three hours in connection with the case filed against him following the death of a woman Revathi, in a stampede early this month.
The investigating officer, B Raju Naik in presence of ACP Chikkadpally – L Ramesh Kumar and DCP (central) Akshansh Yadav questioned about his visit to Sandhya Theatre 70 MM for the premiere show of Pushpa 2 movie.
According to sources, the police posed the actor a set of questions revolving his visit to the theatre, whether he was aware of the denial of permission for his visit, his interaction with the police officials in the theatre, knowledge about the stampede and other questions.
Throughout the questioning session, the actor reportedly remained composed and answered to the police officials explaining in detail about the sequences.
He was asked to appear before the police again if called for further investigation.
The police made elaborate security arrangements at Chikkadpally in view of the visit of the actor to the Chikkadpally police station.
