Sangareddy: 57 physically challenged persons get placement during exclusive job mela

Sangareddy: As many as 57 physically challenged persons got placements during an exclusive placement drive carried out for physically challenged persons in Sangareddy on Wednesday.
Collector Valluru Kranthi, who inaugurated the drive, said 32 companies came forward to induct 200 physically challenged persons during the job mela. They inducted 57 out of 156 persons who attended the job mela depending on the qualifications suited to the needs of the industry.
She thanked the management of these industries for coming forward to provide employment to physically challenged persons. Kranthi said more industries would participate in another job mela planned in February where every person who wants a job, would find a suitable position.
Sangareddy district has nearly 5,000 industries. District Employment Officer P Anil Kumar, Women and disabled welfare officer Lalitha Kumari, and others were present.
