Sangareddy: Sangareddy town police, in the course of regular vehicle checks on Tuesday, caught a two-wheeler rider who had 11 traffic challans pending against him for a long time.
Inspector B Ramesh said they immediately seized the motorcycle from owner Gongulur Nagaraju. Since Nagaraju was involved in multiple traffic violations under various police stations limits in the town, there were 11 challans pending for over two years. Though he managed to go about without being caught all this while, Nagaraju had to cough up Rs 11,325 accumulated against him to get back his bike.
The Inspector advised vehicle owners to clear their pending challans immediately, stating that their vehicles would be seized if more than three challans were pending against them.
