Sangareddy: Christmas celebrations turned tragic as a youth got electrocuted while he was tying the flag on the premises of the Church at Khajapur village on Wednesday.

The family members Rasoku Shoban said the flag pole fell on a live electric wire while he was tying the flag. They further said that they requested the Transco authorities to relocate the electricity line from Church premises, but they ignored their request which led to the death of Shoban.

The police registered a case. The body was taken to the government hospital in Narayankhed for postmortem.
