Sangareddy Collector suspends headmistress over poor sanitation

Collector P Pravinya makes a surprise visit to ZPHS girls school in Sangareddy town on Friday.
Sangareddy: District Collector P Pravinya on Friday directed District Educational Officer Venkateshwarlu to suspend the headmistress of Zilla Parishad Girls High School in Sangareddy town for failing to maintain cleanliness on the school premises and toilets.
During a surprise visit, the Collector found that headmistress Roja had failed to ensure proper upkeep of the school and that the toilets were unhygienic. She also observed that the headmistress had not been maintaining facial recognition attendance records properly.
The Collector instructed the DEO to immediately remove the existing sanitation staff and appoint new personnel without delay. She also directed the staff to place dustbins across the school and maintain regular cleanliness.
Pravinya interacted with students to assess their academic abilities.
