Sangareddy: Industrial worker succumbs to injuries, kin demands compensation

A 26-year-old worker employed at Mythri Drugs in Sangareddy district died while undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in an industrial accident three days ago. Family members and co-workers staged a protest demanding compensation and action against the factory management.

Sangareddy: A factory worker, who sustained serious injuries in an industrial accident three days ago, died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad, on Friday.

The worker Praveen Kumar (26), a native of Kasala in Adilabad district, had been working at Mythri Drugs in Bonthapally industrial area. He succumbed to injuries in the early hours of Friday.
The workers and kin of the deceased have staged a protest at the industry demanding compensation to the victim’s family. They also demanded the government to take action against the management. The Gummadidala police registered a case and the probe was on.
