Sanagreddy: Extending support to the district administration in these times of Covid-19, Kirby Building Systems and Structures India Limited, a subsidiary of Kuwait-based Alghanim Industries, located at Pashamylaram industrial area in Sanagreddy district donated Rs 65 lakh worth medical equipment to the Government Hospitals in the district on Monday.
Earlier, the management of the Kirby also donated Rs 5 lakh to Government Hospital Sangareddy to help them serve nutritious food and safe drinking water to Covid-19 patients during the second wave.
The medical equipment included Oxygen Concentrators, Auto BioPAP Machines, Multipara monitors, PPE Kits and others. The equipment will be used in Sangareddy and Patancheru government hospitals. The equipment was handed over to the health department officials from the hands of Finance Minister T Harish Rao, MP Medak Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, MLA Patancheru Gudem Mahipal Reddy and District Collector M Hanumantha Rao.
D Raju, MD Kirby, said that they decided to donate them as an immediate relief as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) service. Saying that they were also working for long term healthcare capacity building, he thanked the Collector Sanagreddy for giving them an opportunity to donate for the right cause at right time.
