Sangareddy: Man found dead with ‘Latha’ tattooed on chest

The man’s throat had been slit with a sharp weapon. Sangareddy DSP Sataiah Goud, who investigated the crime scene, stated that no other evidence was found to identify the victim. However, the police were working to determine his identity by reviewing CCTV footage and distributing pictures of the body to all local police stations.

Sangareddy: An unidentified man, aged about 30 years, was found murdered on the outskirts of Uttarpally in Sangareddy District on Monday morning. The only identification mark on the body, police said, was the name ‘Latha’ that was tattooed on his chest.

The man’s throat was slit with some sharp weapon. Sangareddy DSP Sataiah Goud, who examined the crime scene, said they found no other evidence to identify the man. However, police were making efforts to trace his identity soon by tracking CCTV footage and by circulating pictures of the body to all police stations.

The body, meanwhile, was shifted to the government hospital in Sangareddy for postmortem. A case was registered and investigation is on.
