Sangareddy: A mentally unstable man brutally murdered his wife by attacking her with a knife at APR Luxuria gated community in Patancheru on Saturday.
The accused Ambati Parameshwar Rao (70) attacked his wife Leelavathi (60) when the rest of the family members were not at home. The neighbours, who rushed to the house upon hearing her screams, found her motionless in a pool of blood.
Rao fled from the scene immediately after the attack. The incident left the entire gated community in a deep shock. The police registered a case. The probe was on. EOM
