Sangareddy: Telangana State Legislative Council Protem Chairman V Bhupal Reddy inaugurated the maternity ward at Primary Health Centre (PHC) located in Ramachandrapuram mandal headquarters on Monday. The facility was built on the premises of PHC with a budget of Rs 25 lakhs which was donated by Paragon Polymers Limited under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Until date, the pregnant women visited Patancheru Area Hospital for deliveries.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhupal Reddy said the State government was providing corporate-level facilities at all the government hospitals. Saying that the State government is expanding its services, Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy said that the government was building 250- bed super speciality hospital at Patancheru soon. Once the construction of the hospital is completed, he said the people of the area will get round-the-clock corporate level treatment.
The Patancheru MLA said that the number of women coming to government hospitals for delivery has increased considerably since the Telangana was created as the government introduced KCR kits besides improving the facilities. RC Puram Corporator Pushpa Nagesh, Paragon industries Director Vijju J Kariya and others were present.
