Sangareddy: An unidentified youth swept away in a stream while he was crossing a bridge on his two-wheeler between Rejinthal and Yelgoi villages in Nyalkal mandal of Sangareddy district on Sunday morning. The victim was proceeding towards Rejinthal village on his motorcycle. Since the area had witnessed heavy rain during the past 24 hours, the stream was in spate. Though the locals, who were standing on the other side of the road, have warned him not to cross the road, he resorted to cross the stream. But he got swept away with the strong current. The police, who booked a case, and irrigation officials have launched the search operation to trace the victim.
