Sangareddy police nabs seasoned peddler, seizes 40 kg of Ganja

The Manoor police took the accused Mallagonda of Bidar into custody while he was transporting 40 KG of ganja, on Thursday at Davvur junction.

Sangareddy: Sangareddy police seized 40 kg of dry ganja and nabbed a seasoned ganja peddler, who was absconding since the police seized 140 kg of ganja in another case in September at Chiragpally.

The Manoor police took the accused Mallagonda of Bidar into custody while he was transporting 40 KG of ganja, on Thursday at Davvur junction.

Speaking to news reporters on Thursday, SP Chennuri Rupesh said Mallagonda, who was jailed for a theft case, befriended notorious ganja smuggler from Odisha Rahul Chakravarthy in Bidar jail.

The SP said that Mallagonda had been involved in multiple such cases with the support of Rahul and his accomplices.
